About Us
Rooted in Southeast Texas, Gadolin Research brings world-class clinical trials to our community — so our neighbors can access tomorrow’s medicine today.
Community-Centered Medical Research
We believe Southeast Texas deserves the same access to cutting-edge medicine as any major city. That's why we bring clinical trials here — so you can participate close to home, surrounded by people who know you.
Our expertly trained medical staff — many of whom are your neighbors — is committed to providing the highest quality care to every participant.
At Gadolin, we prioritize patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. From the Golden Triangle to the surrounding communities, participants in our trials receive the highest standard of care while contributing to breakthroughs that help people worldwide.
What Sets Us Apart?
What Our Community Has Accomplished
When our neighbors step up to participate in clinical research, the results reach patients around the world. Here's what Southeast Texas has helped make possible.
Kisunla (Donanemab) — Alzheimer's
Our community's participation in the TRAILBLAZER-ALZ 2 trial was among the top 5 worldwide. Because our neighbors stepped up, Kisunla received FDA approval in 2024 — slowing Alzheimer's cognitive decline by 35% for patients across the country.
Our community helped make this possible.
Abrysvo — Protecting Babies from RSV
Southeast Texas mothers volunteered for the MATISSE trial and our site was the 3rd highest enrolling globally out of 464 sites. Their participation helped bring the first-ever maternal RSV vaccine to FDA approval in 2023 — protecting newborns from the leading cause of infant hospitalization.
We're proud our community stepped up for babies everywhere.
Roche BrainShuttle™
Our neighbors are now among the first in the world to access trontinemab — a revolutionary technology that transports medicine directly across the blood-brain barrier, with 91% of early-trial patients becoming amyloid-negative.
The next generation of Alzheimer's therapy, available here first.
Merck Anti-Tau — The Next Frontier
Our community now has the opportunity to participate in MK-2214, targeting tau tangles — the protein most closely linked to memory loss. This could be the key to truly stopping Alzheimer's.
FDA Fast Track designated, 2025.
